I've always wanted and needed a quality multimeter. I did quite a bit of research before finally investing in this Kaiweets HT118A True RMS 6000 Counting Meter. It has many features: backlit LED panel, backlit meter dial placement, non-contact voltage measurement, continuity check, and temperature reading, and those are just a few additional additional bonuses for this gadget. The build quality of this multimeter is really good thanks to the semi-rigid rubber bushing. There is no play or rattling. The stand on the back slides out smoothly, and the battery cover screw and trim slide out with a sense of quality. This device comes with a set of test leads and a set of temperature probes. The test results are very good and I would say they are so good and accurate that you don't need to buy any other quality kit sold by Kaiweets or its competitors like TackLife (which I received and will be part of another review. I have comparative pictures to show differences and similarities). The test lead buttons have a great feel and the plugs fit snugly into the multimeter ports. NOTE. The last 6 pictures are benchmark comparisons with TackLife. The included Kaiweets cables are either on the left (side comparison) or on the bottom (top and bottom comparison). The reading accuracy of the temperature cable is +/- 1*C. I tested this by putting a temperature probe wire under my arm to see what my body temperature was. It should be 36°C but the multimeter still reads 35°C (see image). Overall, for the price compared to other premium brand professional/industrial multimeters I don't think you can beat this home/automotive use one. This is probably one of the best purchases from Revain!
