Work, definitely hard.
I bought a used 2016 Ram 3500 with the ball joint installed but it didn't come with those D-rings just the slots they attach to. I need to tow a swan neck trailer, I ordered them from CURT and they fit and work perfectly. As you can see the bolts and brackets start to rust after a few weeks outside so put some WD-40 or something similar on them so they come out easily when you need to level the bed surface.
