Low-tech, high utility
These are very simple tools and as such, it’s kinda hard to mess it up. I bought these to replace a set I bought in 1976 or so but lost in the meantime. I am satisfied with my purchase and bought these as just another piece of tubing bending tools. As a speciality automotive engineer, I find even working on a single marque, an assortment of tools is always of benefit.If you’re looking for a simple tool for bending soft-ish tubing, it is hard to beat for the price-but, this tool is only one of several one will likely want on hand for more complex jobs
- These are a good quality benders, easy to use to make great bends in copper tubing.
- The springs in the benders may lose their elasticity after prolonged use, making it difficult to achieve precise bends
