The set weighed 309.2g which was no weight increase over the lower Tektro which was replaced but as the Tektro has worn down they are a decent replacement and appear to have minimal flex under load which is a good firm brake provides feel. If you are looking for a solid replacement with a good feel look no further, look elsewhere for straight razors. It should be noted that I did not use the standard Swissstop brake pads that come with the kit as I use carbon discs. So I can't say anything about pads.
