You get what you get for $40

Okay guys this is a $40 tachometer, you can't expect Swiss precision from this thing but the tachometer works EXACTLY what you would expect at this price point. (If you're having tach jump issues, you have splitter wavelength issues and most likely need a tach adapter.) I'll start with the cons first, but note that there are issues. Having more pluses than minuses. The harness wires are a bit small, I would use a thicker gauge wire for that. Problems with the detection, it's milliseconds) The instructions are easy to misinterpret, but otherwise it contains all the necessary information. Pros - The face and needle of the sensor are very bright and easily identifiable. Shift light is very bright, both green for stage 1 shifts and red for stage 2 shifts. RPM range setting is very easy (once you've gone through the instructions in the cons section) Fairly accurate RPM readout (in the single digits) / two digits) Generally visually appealing after proper installation. Touch for $40, you get what you paid for. Or, but Gevorks did a great job with that touch, I'm a happy customer. --- So it's now 7/28/22 and I wanted to update this review to add a few small cons (TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT AS THIS MIGHT JUST BE A PROBLEM WITH MY TAC) Con #1 - There are certain ones Times when the Shift indicator (green) flashes randomly. I have a GM HEI dealer so I don't know if I'll get any glitches or anything, but it's pretty blinding at night. And minus number 2 - the wires are quite small, I know that this tachometer does not require much current, but if I had one comment for the company, it would be to strengthen the wiring a little, this is a 22-24 gauge -Cabling. and I would recommend 20-18 gauge for semi accurate reading. (As the name suggests, you get what you pay for.)

Pros
  • . The dial is invisible when the ignition is off. After switching on the ignition, a clear display with colored LED backlighting appears.
Cons
  • Communication with Seller
