I'm a 38" waist with a much bigger belly than I wish I had. As a result, I find almost all shorts, pants, and underwear are about 2-3 inches too long in the crotch. I have been folding the waist band down for years. While I still fold the wait band down on the these, they are the most comfortable (for the boys) I have worn in a long time.9" inseam is great. They do not ride up. The mesh has been cool and comfortable.
