Review on 🌑️ Thomas 4239 Traceable Refrigerator Thermometer with 2 Bottle Probes, Hi-Accuracy, -58 to 158 degrees F by Alex Jones

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Recommended though. Suitable for Digital Thermometers

This was a very good setting but I didn't feel it was as accurate as the certificate says. The plastic case felt very solid and the wires and bottles were sturdy and the door closed easily. One thing that bothered me was that the two probes didn't agree on the temperature, even when they arrived they came with rechargeable batteries or good ones it seemed. Everything seemed top notch and the bottles held their temperature, if not naturally. The glycol in the freezer isn't frozen, which is good. Accuracy is why I scored a point and I needed it. All in all I thought it was great otherwise but sent it back as I couldn't trust it. All thermometers seem to have made an error of +/- 2 degrees, but it was further. It was very expensive not to be more specific and the instructions were read and followed. P1 was in P1 and P2 was in P2. The batteries have been checked to be ok. Hope that helps.

  • Precision Fridge Thermometer has a temperature range of -58 to +158 degrees F/-50 to +70 degrees C with an accuracy of +/- 0.3 degrees C for use in refrigerators, water baths, heating blocks and incubators
Cons
  • Not sure
