At the moment the pros outweigh the cons so I may not be returning it. But this is NOT my favorite water bottle. I wanted a 1 liter bottle to encourage me to drink more. This bottle comes with a strainer, a bottle cleaning stick and replacement rubber caps. I love that it has time markers encouraging and tracking your consumption of 2 liters per day. Of course the price is right. On the other hand, this bottle is VERY slippery and I attached some rubber bands to keep it from slipping out of my hand. Another negative point for me is the plastic taste in the water. I've never heard of Tritan plastic, and since it's BPA-free, I was surprised the plastic seeped into the bottle. This can be a temporary problem, much like new furniture fading. I will give it a few weeks to see if the taste goes away. I have a brand of thermos that is BPA-free and has ridges for a good grip, but it's only 20 ounces.
