Installed on a 2000 Ford Ranger 4.0L V-6. They matched my Ranger engine perfectly when I replaced the head gasket. I have included a photo to show the length of these head studs in relation to the original head stud. which I have not replaced (frozen to the cylinder head and still good threads). As you can see they are the same length as the factory bolt, they just use an internal hex instead of an external hex. I installed them with a high temperature anti-seize compound and used the supplied nuts on all studs (even the factory ones). Installation was easy and everything went well. None of them are broken, none of them have stripped threads, and the distributor is reliable and does not leak. I definitely recommend this stud set!
