Admittedly this was my first experience with nail vinyl but they seem awful. The first impression is that they have many patterns, but none of them last for a whole hand. Each template has 3 blocks. The blocks are big enough for all but the biggest nails, but there aren't many of them unless you can reuse them, which you definitely can't. These vinyls are very thin. They begin to deform simply by peeling them off the plastic sheets. To start, I tried a mermaid scale pattern applied over a cured gel top coat so they wouldn't pull the paint underneath, but the vinyl didn't adhere well so the pattern was messy. When I tried to reuse one to color more than 3 nails it didn't stick at all. All in all it was a complete failure. So the ones that have actual shapes like diamonds or butterflies in stencils that I now use as nail stickers for my little nieces aren't a waste of money at least.
