I can't confirm the taste as I bought this for my cat and I'm not used to tasting his products. What can I say though, I have a 16 year old house cat who eats ALL DAY and is still losing weight. He also hobbles; poor old man. The vet recommended this until we can pinpoint the problem. After a few days, I noticed that he was getting more alert, more alert, and lighter. He usually asks like he's feeling better. Hasn't solved the weight problem but seems happier. He is very picky about food. I don't touch anything but cat food. This bottle comes with a little dropper, so I just stick it down his throat. He doesn't fight it too much. I've noticed the times I've missed, it's a little sticky. But no strong smell. Definitely a win.
