I find these scoops to be well made, easy to clean and durable. I have tested their volume with a standard set of measuring spoons and they are very accurate and precise. I usually run my finger over it after scooping coffee to even it out; If there are no gaps, that's exactly 3 tablespoons, which is the right amount for two 6-ounce cups of coffee (a 12-ounce mug). (I've never understood why "Cups of Coffee" handles 6-ounce cups instead of the standard 8-ounce cups, but that's how it is, all coffee makers are calibrated that way.) I usually keep those shovel I use. with coffee in. It's great but that's how I lost my previous scoops. Someone unfamiliar with my system uses the last coffee and assumes the scoop came with the coffee. You throw it away with the empty coffee container. Once upon a time, coffee was accompanied by spoons; In the "good old days" you got a new one every time you bought a pound. LAUGH OUT LOUD. These scoops aren't free, but they're better quality than the thinner plastic scoops we're used to. And they're inexpensive. They look good and feel so good that anyone would think twice before throwing them away.
