Review on Respirator Replaceable Washable Suitable Activities by Mike Larkin

I don't know who was responsible for the "design" of these face masks, but they were clearly aimed at visual aesthetics rather than comfort and actual fit. These masks are so uncomfortable and ridiculous to put on and wear without pulling your ears that you just end up not wanting to bother with them and stop trying. Sad because they look great. But they seem to target people whose ears are about 5 inches lower than normal people. The main design flaw here is one that renders them simply unusable.
