The product was purchased for Dyson Animal DC41. What you need to know is that if this latest version differs from the original part, a #15 4" torx wrench is required to disassemble the canister and install the bottom bracket. The top mount is easy to install except when you need to snap the canister into place. a vacuum cleaner. Be prepared to file off any excess plastic material from the top bracket as there is insufficient clearance between the bracket and the vacuum cleaner cover. Since Dyson only sells the full bin and not just a part, this option is better than nothing. It doesn't seem to have to. Have to fiddle around to swap out the button latch, that's just my opinion.
