I needed a rack basket that folds down when not in use. Anything made of cloth seems to be at least twice the price and less durable (these products have received reviews of cloth getting dangerously stuck in wheel spokes). So, based on price and durability, this product is a winner. But my particular racks had two problems. A post was so bent during transport that it could not be opened without considerable effort on my part. And there were slivers of paint on both racks which I'm afraid might rust the base metal :( On to some quirks of this particular product. I like that the bike sits much lower than the rack. This also allows for a lower center of gravity allowing me to to mount a milk crate on a rack without greatly reducing the volume of that basket.I installed this rack using 2-3 zip ties to attach the basket to the rear rack support legs.I also used tape on the back rack on the contact points to avoid scratches.
