One day I was checking my dog's gums and found this big, white, swollen thing. At first I thought it was a weed sticker from a trail ride. When I tried to take it off she squeaked in pain and I realized it was part of her gums. I researched the internet and looked at the pictures. Either she had warts or stomatitis. He said she should take note of her behavior. She was still playful, her normal sleep schedule and appetite hadn't changed. Studies have shown that if you have an ulcer wound, get a hand sanitizer that is safe for the dog's mouth and not leave it around other dogs until it clears, which usually takes around 7-10 days. I bought these wipes and after a few days her ulcer started to decrease. She really doesn't like it when I get close to her mouth and rub a piece of cotton in it, but she wasn't spitting or gagging, so I guess the taste didn't bother her. The scent was very light and minty. It worked and I will definitely be using a mix of this and dentastix for a month.
