Too Much Mint for Dogs

I use these wipes to clean my dog's teeth and gums and still feel tingling in my hands when I touch these wipes. I prefer Zpaws wipes to these because you get the same result without overdoing it with peppermint oils.

  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Hard to Say

The vet said these dental wipes are working

My dogs just had their annual report and the vet praised my work with the dental wipes. Gums looked fine and much less bitterness. Dogs get along well with them - maybe because I associate it with a treat after I'm done - but they remain silent, and it takes seconds with each dog. Excellent stuff.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • I really don't like anything everything is fine

Works, but no grip hole, just small round napkins. This makes brushing the dog's teeth a bit difficult, but I've learned to wrap my fingers around it and use it. I like that they are safe for my dogs and there are a lot of them in the pack. Generally work fine.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • A few little things

My dog approves of dental care

My dog is 12 pounds so is smaller. What wipes are suitable for his mouth. I wish they were a little bigger but they work well. He also seems to enjoy the taste, making it easier to get the job done. I don't use it daily as I have other brushing methods that I use as well, but it's great for a "weekend" wipe just to remove extra dirt from his teeth. This keeps his breath very fresh.

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • Useless features

Substitute for Dr. Foster and Smith

I used to buy Drs. Foster and Smith tooth cleaning wipes and have been very happy with them. But they are no longer available. It has the same key ingredient as these wipes (chlorhexidine gluconate, an ingredient my vet says is a good teeth cleaner). The pads are textured for easy cleaning. I also think my dog "tolerates" them better than others; it may be my imagination, but perhaps the taste is more palatable to him.

Much easier than a dog toothbrush

We have two dogs, our older dog has very bad teeth as he hardly chews food and absolutely doesn't want to sit still and brush his teeth. With them I get their teeth pretty quickly and it doesn't seem to bother them. Our youngest bitch doesn't seem to like the taste but we've only tried it on her a couple of times. The wipes definitely smell nice and seem to improve breathing. I hope that with regular use, our senior dog's teeth will improve a little.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not the best

I haven't tried them but my dog hates the taste.

I love that it smells like mint but I think my dog hates it for the same reason. After that, I give him half of the enzyme gum as a reward, and he sits and gets his teeth rubbed with the promise of a treat. I bought this mainly because of the chlorhexidine in these tooth wipes. Most other wipes only have a minty smell but no ingredients that actually help clean teeth/gums. I think it works well and the rough side is useful for gently rubbing my dog's teeth. He had dental surgery earlier this…

Helps Heal Ulcers

One day I was checking my dog's gums and found this big, white, swollen thing. At first I thought it was a weed sticker from a trail ride. When I tried to take it off she squeaked in pain and I realized it was part of her gums. I researched the internet and looked at the pictures. Either she had warts or stomatitis. He said she should take note of her behavior. She was still playful, her normal sleep schedule and appetite hadn't changed. Studies have shown that if you have an ulcer wound, get a
