I removed the axle housing on my Wrangler so someone could replace the gear and pinion and decided to put new pads on it when reassembling. The old ones had very little wear but being around I figured I'd make them anyway. I bought it. They came through fine. But the parking brake didn't work. I've spent several hours trying to figure out why, but to no avail. The cables were fine, the pads were adjusted to barely touch the drum but still didn't hold. Finally bought brake pads to compare on site. The centric here had about an inch less friction material on the underside of the drive pad. Replaced, new ones work fine. The top one is Centric which didn't work.
