Thanks to YouTube videos, I've become a real plumber. My fill valve and damper were out of order and my toilet was making a weird, scary noise after every flush. I ordered a full set but the valve that came with the inflation valve wasn't heavy enough to stay down after each use. I was tired of constantly reaching out and squeezing it, so I bought this damper hoping it would be better, and it was. This particular model has a better chain than the one that came with the valve. This one works great and I've since bought a second one for my other bathroom. Great price, easy to install, works great. It also has a dial that you can turn to use more or less water. Great product and I can only recommend it.
