Purchased as a foster mom for our extra bedroom. The bed is extremely difficult to put together and take apart. for foster parenting we often are taking apart and rebuilding bedrooms depending on what genders and age ranges of children are moving into our home. This bed is a disaster to deal with for this purpose. There are a million pieces and they're very finicky. Once built, the bed is pretty sturdy. The poles that lie horizontally for support though, are extremely slippery and makes it easy for the mattress to just slide right off.
