This is a great looking collar, it's easy to adjust and I feel better because it's less likely to slip off when she pulls back. I think it works well as a collar but doesn't look that painful or scary. I've found that my dog no longer pulls as hard and forcefully, but still pulls hard when he sees or smells something that attracts him. I just hope it doesn't hurt her or cause any harm. A disadvantage is more of a preference. My dog's collar, leash and harness hardware is black and the buckle is silver. The silver buckle looks cool but I would prefer it to be all black or all silver. Otherwise I would recommend this collar, I would buy my Doberman another one if I had one!
