I bought this because it's a little cheaper than the ones I usually buy, but I've tried Hydroxycut products in the past and I know that they are effective . This seems to reduce my cravings for late morning and afternoon snacks and encourages me to drink water, which is helpful in terms of weight management. It doesn't make me jittery and the slight boost of energy it gives me helps me get through my evening workout. Unfortunately tastes 100% like fruit punch, which I don't like. Not just fruit punch, but sickeningly sweet fruit punch. It helps if I dilute it with more ice and cold water, or if I only use half a pack, but I really hate the taste and won't be buying it again for that reason. It's a matter of preference so if you like fruit punch this would be a good product for you. Update: I decided to use up the whole box because I'm frugal and got used to the taste over time. I don't mix it with the 16.9 oz like it says on the pack because the flavor is too sweet and overpowering, so I dilute it with a little more water and more ice in an overflowing 20 oz. a bottle (probably 21 or 22 oz) which makes it a lot tastier. I don't hate this flavor anymore, although it's still not my favorite and I find it very effective for curbing my appetite and boosting my energy. I use it twice a day and it has helped me maintain my recent significant weight loss and even helped me shed a few extra pounds. Despite my previous statement that I would not buy it again, I will in fact be buying my second box. It's much more effective than the supplements I usually use.
