I bought this for my Victorinox Swiss Army watch because it's significantly cheaper than the Victorinox-brand replacement.This product is made in China. It's genuine leather of decent quality. When it arrived in the box, it looked immaculately handsome. The leather feels a bit harder (more solid, more difficult to bend) than the Victorinox-brand leather. You might find this to be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your preference. Do you like soft and supple leather that caresses your skin? Or do you like strong and firm leather that can hold its shape a bit better on your wrist?Now that I've put the strap on my watch and worn it several times, I can see that the top surface of the leather is dry with micro cracks at the bend after just a few instances of usage. I now have to put leather conditioner on it to stop the microcracks from getting worse. Because of this tiny bit of hassle, I'm deducting a star.One last thing, I find that the actual color is a tiny bit darker than it appears in the picture on the computer. When they took a picture of the product, they probably used a lot of light and as a result, it looks bit brighter/lighter in the picture. I actually prefer darker brown, so this was no problem for me at all.
