Let's be realistic about the goggles which only cost around $2.50 a pair. These are not your everyday readers. They are small, compact, easy to stow in your pocket and ready to hand anytime, anywhere. I've just started wearing e-readers and refuse to wear them all the time (vanity mostly). My solution is to keep jars throughout the house. For travel I chose these glasses with rotating frames. They're perfect for stashing in your vest/coat pocket, any small bag you carry with you, or clipping to anything you would clip a pen to. Weak? Let's be generous and call them "flexible". I really like how the rotating arms work, which also protect the lenses when not in use as they will be carried in a pocket most of their life. Cozy? Mmm, not really. Does it hurt a lot? Not at all, they're just a bit tight on my fat head and not very attractive. If you sit and read for hours, you probably need a better pair. If you just need to read the menu at a restaurant, they're great.
