My old kitchen clock had been cheap, and it lasted a long time, but it eventually bit the dust. Then I got this one. Put some batteries in it and put it on the wall. It’s doing great! Keeps good time, and makes absolutely no noise.The only "weird” thing is some time after I hung it up, I got an email from the manufacturer which told me to put a particular kind of batteries in it. Well I had already put in alkaline batteries, since I keep a supply of them around. Had no idea what those batteries were that they mentioned. I decided not to worry about it, and ignored their instructions.Bottom line is it’s working fine, and I have no idea why alkaline batteries aren’t ideal. Guess I’ll just see how long this clock lasts!
