This is my first review of dog shoes. I really have nothing to compare them to. I bought these because my poor dog suffers from allergies and I was hoping that maybe by covering her legs she wouldn't be exposing her legs to what's causing her allergy breakouts in the garden. Size Chart. It's really confusing. It only talks about the width, but if you look at the different sizes of booties, so the length AND the width. But it doesn't explain how to measure the length. I looked at it for a long time and got stuck at size 7. Unfortunately I find it too big. I would probably be better off with 6. The booties seem well made though. They look and feel like human shoes, except they're obviously made for dogs. They have two straps to tighten. One is like Velcro for children's shoes, the other wraps around the leg to ensure they don't come loose. You have to pull them pretty tight. My dog lost a boot when we first tried them because they weren't snug enough. My dog didn't appreciate the new shoes I bought for her. I think it will take time and training for a dog to get used to wearing them. You definitely need a quiet dog. My dog lets me do whatever I want with her, so she had no issues with immobility while I was putting her on. It can be more difficult with a violent dog. I'm not sure I'll use them just because I think they're too big. The shoes have a lot of room and are bulky when my dog walks in them. I think the sizing chart needs to be adjusted to be a bit clearer but other than that they appear to be good quality booties for the price.
