My husband was a firefighter and fell off a 2.5 story roof hitting the only patch of concrete in the area. He landed on his feet which resulted in bruised feet, as well as some nerve injuries, broken bones, etc. He ended up in the hospital for 17 weeks (!) and has had trouble putting shoes on ever since. (of any kind) with a combination of comfort/arch support/design and anti-roll design (no sideways movement in either leg). The shoes he finds bleed out in less than 3-4 months as they lose most of their support and he feels severe pain after wearing them. ASICS Gel-Ace Pro golf shoes have not worn out yet. . He skates on the course, but sometimes he goes from hole to hole to get some practice. With these shoes he can play 18 holes of golf and not limp for 1-3 days afterwards. This is a great shoe, well built and with good support that keeps his feet securely in place while still allowing enough flexibility to allow him to maneuver for golf shots. They also keep him from rolling his legs to the side which is great! If you love golf and want a great supportive shoe for your hole-fill rounds, these are the shoes for you.
