These fit my cordless Wahl Senior perfectly and the installation was the same as any Wahl steel cutting blade. The blades did not come sharp at all. With these particular blades I did not notice a difference in heat while using the clipper. My clipper still got hot while cutting. They don’t blend as smoothly as steel blades but they do have a very nice crunch sound. The number one thing I did not like about these ceramic blades is that they made my clipper ridiculously loud! My clipper was definitely the loudest in the shop and it was annoying trying to talk to my clients while it was on. There is definitely a place for ceramic blades in the industry but these in particular are not it.
