This part is an exact replacement. Made my jack work like new (after replacing the bent frame). The gear is made of fiber material to be a weak point if the jack gets stuck. My original Barker 10051 Jack Gear failed as intended. The jack leg was bent and the gear teeth were stripped when I pulled the jack back. By the way, I knew I could take my gear off, but I was in an emergency. Even with the mechanism broken, I was able to lift the trailer off the road and avoid danger.
