I would give 5 stars if the instructions showed how to remove the bowl. You must hold the platter with one hand to keep it from moving. Then twist the bowl slightly to loosen and remove. Other mixmasters have a lock and unlock switch on the side, this one doesn't. However, if you prevent the turntable from moving and rotate the bowl, you can lift it up and down. My wife couldn't take the bowl off without her. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out what was going on. Fix it in the same way. Hold the turntable with one hand and turn the bowl with the other hand until you feel it click into place. It's lightweight, works well, and works as advertised. A good product.
