Review on Vibrant & Versatile: Prismacolor 92808HT 🎨 Scholar Colored Pencils, 60-Count for Artists & Students by Juanita Riles

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I wish I could give them a higher rating

Overall I really like these pens. They are super pigmented, smooth, overall great pencils. I wanted to give them a higher rating but I had a serious problem, especially with black pens. The cores were broken in many places, so they break almost every time you try to sharpen them (even a little). I've tried many shapes including ones that stabilize the pencil while sharpening and even a Prismacolor sharpener, all with new blades and they keep breaking. No matter how careful you are, they will break. I've been using them for a little over a month, have used them on a few projects, and they shouldn't be that far off now. Update: It's been almost a year since I bought these and I'd like to know how poor the quality was back then. They can't even be used as soon as I sharpen them and even try to use them they break. I've taken care of them since I've had them, they've always been kept in a soft case and seldom dropped. I've tried many sharpeners and nothing has worked. The cores are simply broken in the cases, and most cases have cracks on the sides of many of them. I will not buy Prismacolor again, the quality is just terrible.
