Lamps and built-in sockets sometimes don't put lightbulbs where I need them. This comfortable flexible neck extension makes it possible. I haven't seen a UL rating for this unit but it seems safe and long lasting - I wouldn't use it for bulbs over 60w but it works well with any LED or CFL bulb and offers all the performance . the light you need. The gooseneck is a bit stiff so I understand that it needs to be bent into position and left in that position. It bends 180 degrees in every direction. I wouldn't bend it further or make a loop. Good product and the price seems reasonable.
