So this bark collar is pretty good. It's a good size, very light and humane as it doesn't shock and constantly "scold" the dog for barking a lot (for those stubborn barking dogs). We have a Yorkie who loves to bark at people and is very fond of barking when someone comes to the door. It's annoying, especially when the baby is sleeping. So we tried a few bark collars. That's the first thing that doesn't shock her. I think this only really works on our dog because he hears the vibration alert sound and is scared of the impact so he stops barking. I think if this was her first collar she would ignore the beeps and vibrations and just keep barking. So if you don't like the idea of electrocuting your dog, this should work just fine. However, I'm only giving it four stars because it's difficult to get the sensitivity I want. There will be trial and error, and you'll never get perfect results anyway. It either didn't work when she barked, or it worked when she shook her head and jingled chips, or when children cried. It's not perfect, but not bad for the price. I would say this is a good collar to try if you want to see if the collar will work for your dog. So if your dog doesn't change from the sounds and vibrations, at least you didn't spend too much money on the experiment.
