Overall this is a very good camera, especially for the price, but I am planning to buy a headset to complement the poor mic. Rated 4 stars due to microphone issues. Pros: good video quality and plug and play operation, no software installation required. The USB cable is very long, just what we needed to set up our PC. The camera angle can be physically adjusted up or down. Cons: The assembly is not the most reliable. When closing/opening the privacy screen, it's a good idea to hold the camera to avoid pushing it back too far and tipping it over. The mic picks up very little sound unless you hold the device directly in front of your mouth, which is clearly not intended. We plugged our Plantronics headset into a different USB port and the sound is much better. Important NOTE. When we connected the camera to a USB 3.0 port on our PC, the computer did not recognize the camera, although according to the manual USB 2.0/3.0 can be accepted. We had no problems using the USB 2.0 slot.
