The perfect solution for my task. I'm an adventurous person and normally live without a semi-trailer SUV, but the rear crouches ridiculously. I made an adjustable type with two metal plates and nuts/bolts, but they always have to trim the bolts to avoid interference issues, and the plates usually rub against my dusters. I did a life size spin and no matter how hard it is to spin them they still manage to fall out. This seems to be the answer to all my problems so far. They're fairly easy to install by sticking a pry bar between the springs, installing the top clamp first, and then tapping the bottom clamp with a hammer. I've only driven them around the block so far, but so far they're great. .
