Review on 💾 AMPCOM M.2 NVMe SSD to PCI-e 4.0 Adapter, PCIe 4.0 X16 Card with Aluminum Case, Windows 7/8/10 Support, 2280 Compatible by Jeffrey Sanders

I used this to add an existing M.2 NVMe SSD that I have. My mobile device only has one M.2 slot, so this was a great way to use my spare PCIe 2 x16 slot. The case is well built and contains everything you need for both single-sided and double-sided M.2 cards. I have a single sided SSD so I used a blue cooling pad/tape to cool the front and back. However, I cut the cooling pad to fit ONLY the CPU while using the entire second blue pad on the back. The reason for this is that NAND tends to get hot while the CPU doesn't. Everything seems fine and I'm still testing how hot the thing gets when it's closed. I can compare it to my primary 1TB heatsinkless M.2 NVMe SSD, which serves as the main drive.
