This was the worst tempered glass screen protector I have ever used. I had an old protector and thought it was time to get a new one. I bought it. When I first started installing it, it had a lot of these air gaps. I took it off and noticed that it wasn't dust on the underside, but actual glass or adhesive defects. I washed it off, dried it and used a lint brush to remove the dust. Still the same problem. I did the same with an old screen protector, cleaning it with a lint brush and everything was perfect. I won't buy this again. Even without flaws, the screen was too big for the Pixel 2XL. The screen is slightly rounded, so the protector turned out to be too big, leaving air gaps on all sides.
