Review on πŸŽ’ Lightweight MSI Urban Raider Backpack: Enhancing Your Urban Adventures by Sade Tucker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Large but unwieldy

I ordered the Urban Raider backpack for my MSI GE75 Raider and it holds it with no problems! The laptop is a thick 17 inch gaming computer and inside the case the perimeter is about 2.5 cm long except for the top where it is about 3 inches from the top. What was a clever design idea is a pleated laptop sleeve with elastic straps on each side to allow it to stretch to accommodate a laptop cooling pad! In front of the laptop sleeve is a tablet pocket large enough to hold a large iPad Pro. In addition, there is only one large cable pocket, a large mouse pocket, large enough to easily accommodate a full-size mouse, cables and weights. On the inside of the main compartment (essentially the only compartment) is a headphone strap to secure your glasses and a pocket to either store them or hide extra cords or other bulky items. And that's all it takes to inspect the inside. The top front pocket is small, has a waterproof zipper with tape and is labeled for phone storage. It is too big for a very large phone or multiple phones. there. I put a 10,000mAh power pack in there and could fit more if needed. There is also a metal key clip inside. NO pocket for pens. I've never had a bag without a handle. For example, even if it's not a stylus, it would be nice to use a stylus or Apple Pencil. There are 2 water bottle pockets, but they are not elastic and have no creases, so there is no point in them. My bag is loaded and the contents are mostly rummaged through the pockets of water bottles. You might be able to squeeze a few cables into each, but no more. My advice: bring a few drawstring bags and other accessory pouches to keep things organized. I wish it was a more technical bag but it's enough to hold almost everything you need. The build quality is good. About what you would expect from a $100 bag. The straps are nylon, just like seat belts, only thinner. The back is padded to protect your laptop and give you comfort. As someone who makes a living selling luggage and bags, I tend to notice structural issues and can tell that the straps are not reinforced where they attach to the bag. However, I'm sure the bag would be great for everyday use and travel, but if you use it daily the straps probably won't last more than a year and I would suggest getting a $180+ backpack . Stadion.
