Review on ๐Ÿ›น KMX Complete Skateboard: The Perfect Choice for Beginner Skaters by John Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Truck mounts close to bow, light hit.

The carts and wheels on this board looked nice, but I don't use them, so this review is all about the deck. I've been looking for a 27" deck that I would like for a long time. I had a Landyachtz boat and loved it, but I live in Arizona and left it in my car all summer. My guess is that the wood is the heat couldn't stand it and the whole board splintered and fell apart.I decided I had to use a plastic deck because it can stay in my car all year round.I didn't want to spend $70 on a deck, also the cheap name brand board was in Black sold out. This deck has all the features I was looking for.The trucks are mounted very close to the bow and the kicktail is very thin compared to the competition.I've included a photo of my old fake penny board so you can compare. The trucks were mounted so far from the bow and the kicktail was raked so much that it was difficult to ride. When I got this deck, the wheelbase was almost a full truck length ger, which gave me much more stability. The subtle boost is easy to manage and I love how far the front car is set forward. An additional advantage of this deck are small cut-outs for the front wheels. I don't see any wheelbite issues even with my 75mm BigZigs, although I admit I run Bear trucks with 1/8" risers. I ride this board about 1/4 mile every day and it was one of the best plastic boards I've ever tried (I've had a few penny boards and 3 real pennies). My favorite 22" deck is the Playshion 22, but so far it wins the 27" deck award.
