This is just a large piece of stretchy polyester material that will work for a projector screen but only if there is no backlight. We have it on the wall and it works great there, but I wouldn't use it outdoors with a stand, for example. The material lets quite a bit of light through, which naturally darkens the projected image since not all of the light is reflected back to your eyes. With a solid base, this usually goes away. You can stretch it a bit and this will remove any wrinkles or creases. To do this you will need something fairly strong to hang on the wall. The little self-adhesive mounting hooks that are included are a joke and will detach from the wall well before you attach it, leaving it perfectly smooth. I've used a few nails (including some that didn't have a grommet) and now the screen hangs on the wall partially permanently, but at least it looks good. In general, there are probably better options for a portable screen, and of course better options for a permanent one. However, the price is right and it will work great if you're looking for a cheap screen to throw at the wall from time to time.
