Review on Bosch 1375A 2 Inch Angle Grinder by Mike Larkin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

DO NOT FORGET THAT THE INTERNAL FLANGE IS THREADED!

I. Am. A. Jerk. I started the previous review by saying I am a professional furniture maker (conscientious/reliable right?) who has had many grinders over the years and while I love this grinder I was unable to remove the inner flange. . Either because the machining tolerances were too tight, or because there was some kind of burr, or he just went for welding. I even tried to pull it off with a puller! I had everything ready to return and figured I just needed to replace the flange and make sure I drilled out the flange before putting it in. Then I had a terrible thought. and searched for "flange" among other reviews. (large palm of the face). Yes. This Bosch grinder differs from all other grinders I've had in that the inner flange is also threaded. and I completely forgot. What a mannequin. Now I feel so bad for all the abuse I put on this pretty little car. Here are the highlights from my previous review: Work. Towards the end of the day, my wrists started to hurt a lot, so my primary goal was to find a coffee grinder that was as light as possible. for the attention to detail. Makita has always been my favorite coffee grinder, but I thought the Bosch might be worth a try. The design and quality appealed immediately. The machining and finish of all parts looked great and were a joy to use. Seems like coffee grinders are supposed to be the same - it's just a threaded shaft motor - but compared to the crappy Metabo I spent money on, this Bosch ran like butter. so smooth, almost no vibration. very balanced and light. Seriously, it's my pleasure. I think I will eventually replace all of my coffee grinders with this model. In any case. I wholeheartedly recommend this angle grinder, just don't forget the threaded flange. And the only other comment I will make is that the cable is pretty flimsy. it's like the power of a liquorice rope. So make sure that no clippings fall on it. that's all I'll say about it. otherwise. This is a great little grinder.
