just started woodworking and these chisels are awesome! I sharpen them with sandpaper from time to time and it works like a charm. Working with them is almost therapeutic.

Very nice set of quality chisels I was very impressed when I first used them to assemble furniture in my carpentry shop. I have sets that I paid four times as much for and they are nowhere near as good as this one. Good steel, good grips. They are solid and won't wobble even when hit with a hammer! I need to buy other sets. only buy!

Absolutely awful. the bevel is horribly broken, the edges of several chisels are lightly chipped, the sheet steel tips are loose, as is a handle. Obviously you get what you pay for and the good reviews made me want to try them. NO! Just back. Look elsewhere, even for chisels as I intended. If you know anything about woodworking, a chisel is a very important tool, definitely not.

These are chisels for those who want to watch and try Rex Krueger on YouTube (like me). You will get the job done. Remember, you can get a set of chisels for less than $20. So just enjoy them for what they are and see if you like woodwork. For what they are they deserve a good grade because they are a lot of bang for your buck. Bought for $17 for four wood chisels (no case). Undoubtedly, such a price can cause nervousness and skepticism among many professional carpenters. The packaging is also minimal. I don't think I would recommend them. I have about 4 hours to fix it and still have a long way to go. All the chamfers do not line up with the sides of the bit. Your chisel will wander as it cuts and you cannot sharpen it with any tool. I believe they have been machined and not sanded in any way. The main bevels seem to be at a 30 degree angle which is why people say they hold the blade decently. You will never slide over wood as easily as you should with this one. I've wanted to learn more about wood carving for a long time and thought this set would be a good tool kit for beginners. Also, I wanted to make small adjustments to some of the doors that had shifted a bit over time, and rather than outweigh them, thinning out the edge seemed like the best option. BINGO! There are 3 or 4 kits on Revain that appear almost identical and I chose them because they are in the middle of the price range of these identical kits.
