Review on Riverstone Audio Matched Fully Tested Platinum by Matheus Buck

I ordered these tubes for my Little Dot MKII headphone amp and they sound great. Compared to the stock tubes they sound cleaner with an emphasis on clarity, a slightly larger soundstage and a more distinct baseline response. These tubes sound great and I used the stock power amp tubes that came with the Little Dot MKII. I also have the Hifiman Edition X headphones and Mr. Speaker Mad Dog. I have an audio source from my PC which is a custom PC and the components are: Intel I7-6700k OCd up to 4.5GHz // Gigabyte Gaming 6 MOBO // 32GB DDR4 Corsair LPX RAM // 1TB Samsung SSD 850 EVO for game // 256 GB Samsung SSD 850 PRO for OS // 1 TB Seagate SSHD Firecuda // Windows 10 Home 64bit // Corsair AX 1500i power supply. I use the Audio Quest Evergreen USB 2.0 to USB-A connector from the Gigabyte DAC UP port and the Schiit Audio Modi 2 Uber DAC. I then use a clear (proprietary) RCA cable from Schiit Audio Modi 2 Uber and connect it to a Little Dot MKII tube headphone amp. The only downside to these new lights is the fact that they were actually a bit tricky to install. By that I mean they had to put more effort into fitting them into the Little Dot MKII's lamp slots. As a pipe novice I was afraid I might break them lol. Although everything is fine.
