I used these iron-on patches to hide the embroidered initials on my child's old backpack. The backpack and matching lunch box were from the Pottery Barn Kids and I wanted to give them away. Be very careful when ironing the lunch box due to the plastic inside. I didn't have a steam iron on the highest setting and only pressed it for about 20 seconds. I also glued a patch from the wrong side of the embroidery to the wrong side of the embroidery and placed a towel to make sure nothing was sticking together. So far these patches have worked great.
