We've been using these spike covers for a number of years and don't usually have much trouble putting them on. However, this brand is very small and VERY difficult to put on - even size XL. If you order two sizes larger than you think you need, they will fit when worn, albeit very tight. But dressing them is VERY difficult, even oversized! I have used this brand and two other brands this year and all three brands are exactly the same - very difficult to put on. Comparing them, I'm pretty sure all three brands are made in the same factory in Asia. They'll come in handy when you're in a bind and can't find anything made at another factory. But for the price, there are OTHER spike caps out there that are easy to install and work just as well as this one. Although I don't know where to find them. Like you, I'm looking for the ones we've used over the years. I wish I could remember good brands. Much luck!
