Review on ⚙️ Ryobi DP103L Green Drill Press: Power and Precision Combined by Michael Rosario

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I expected a little more from Ryobi. But it works.

I just bought this item and so far it's working well For the money, $140.00, not bad. The top pulley for the belt pulls too hard on the adjustment so she barely loosens it to change the belt's position relative to the other pulley. It will loosen a little (just a little), but you'll have to unscrew the belt from the pulley. After the top pulley is removed, all other pulley/belt positions allow more slack in the adjustment screw to allow the belt to move more easily. Not that big of a problem, but could have been designed better to give more room to adjust the strap in all places. As for the lasers, you can tune them to pinpoint the location of the bit. One review said you can't. This isn't the easiest of customizations, but it's possible. So far nothing has broken and it works perfectly. I don't think it's bad for the money. The description says it has a storage compartment. I don't know where but there is a place to store the key. For now it works as advertised. SOMETHING ELSE. I'd rather spend another $15-20 if they're built a little better. Like a metal disc. A slightly harder mode throughout. Metal top cover. Something like that. You should hire me. I would help create a better product that doesn't have to cost that much more. Like the things I suggested. Can't give half a star but I would give 3 1/2. I put 3 stars.
