I usually sleep with the windows open and fans running most of the summer; However, it can get very hot, so I sleep with a floor fan and a small fan on my bedside table. I've looked through a number of bedside fans, some were underpowered, some were too loud and some died. My last fan died and made a lot of noise so I bought this fan. I've been using it for about a week and it's by far the BEST bedside fan I've ever had. It has three settings and gives off good airflow even at a low temperature. At altitude the airflow was so strong that the fan pushed my bedside table. The fan has something on the bottom that should keep it from slipping, it works well at low speeds but starts to move above that speed. I solved the mobile fan problem simply by placing a piece of non-slip liner underneath. The fan was immediately ready for use. I didn't test the battery life, but to make sure the fan ran all night, I connected it to the battery until I ordered a longer charging cable. When the longer charging cable arrived, I plugged the fan into an outlet so it was always ready to go. I would highly recommend this fan, it's quiet on all settings and produces great airflow on all settings.
