If you have free time this is a fun challenge. Nothing for beginners. Solving centers and edges is a bit more difficult than 4x4, but mostly requires more moves since more edges are involved. However, there aren't many potential parity situations, so it's less complicated in a way. I don't enjoy building this cube as much as the 4x4, partly because the parts are smaller and my fingers aren't as good with them. It takes me twice as long to solve, but the time is mostly spent on repetitive movements. The cube itself holds up well and the action is pretty smooth.
