This is a TV remote control so don't get upset about it. This is exactly the style and construction I've had on the VIZIO HDTV before. The original's buttons were worn and unreadable, two were stuck and stopped working. When I got this, I put the batteries in and it worked right away - no setup, no programming. It just took off like a rocket. I only use it to switch between HDMI for my X-BOX and my TV channels so it doesn't find much use but for what I need it works great. .
