Review on πŸ”₯ Coleman PowerPack Propane Stove, Single Burner, Coleman Green - High-Performance Outdoor Cooking Appliance by Corey Evans

Revainrating 4 out of 5

If I can bring it, I will!

I've been using it for about 5 years. I take this stove for car camping (less than 2 miles from car), canoeing and quad biking. Basically whenever the weight is not an issue, I take this stove with me. I use this for perculator style coffee pots. I have Faberware for 8 cups and Coleman for 14 cups. The Coleman is perfect for large groups, but it may take a while to get it working with that much water and probably camping by a creek or somewhere cool (cold anyway). It fits in a 12 inch pot or saucepan, of which I have used a 6 quart pot when cooking on a picnic table with no problem. It had 3 pounds of spaghetti with water in it and the metal supports didn't seem to mind. I will tell you that propane canisters are only good up to 30F. After that you have to put the propane canisters in hot water to make the gas active, but as you use it the canister will cool down as the gas expands.
